Privacy Policy – Cozy Kids Stories

Cozy Kids Stories (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides bedtime stories for children ages 3–8. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
- Account information (iOS): If you use Sign in with Apple, we receive an anonymous Apple user identifier and, when you allow, your name and email address provided by Apple.
- Account information (Android): If you use Sign in with Google, we receive your Google user identifier, name, and email address provided by Google.
- Purchase information (iOS): We process subscription status and related transaction identifiers from Apple to enable premium access and restore purchases.
- Purchase information (Android): We process subscription status and related transaction identifiers from Google Play to enable premium access and restore purchases.
- App usage data: Favorites, reading history/progress, voice and display preferences, and other settings necessary to provide core features.
- Crash reports: We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash logs and diagnostic information to maintain app stability. This data does not identify you personally.
- Analytics (limited): We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage events (e.g., screens viewed, features used) to improve the app experience. We do not use third-party advertising SDKs.
- Authenticate users, provide and sync subscriptions, and restore purchases.
- Provide reading/favorite history, voice settings, and continue-listening features.
- Diagnose crashes and fix bugs via Firebase Crashlytics.
- Understand how the app is used in aggregate to improve content and experience via Firebase Analytics.
- Maintain security and prevent abuse.
Children’s Privacy
The app is designed for young children and collects only the minimum information needed to operate the service. We do not show third-party ads. Parents can contact us to review or delete a child’s account data at any time.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Data may be processed by the following service providers solely to operate the app:
- Apple – Sign in with Apple, In-App Purchases (iOS)
- Google – Sign in with Google (Android), Google Play Billing (Android), Firebase Authentication, Firebase Firestore, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics
These providers process data under their own privacy policies and agreements.
Account Deletion
You can delete your account directly within the app via Settings → Delete Account. Upon deletion, we remove your account data and associated records from our systems. Note: Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active in-app subscription. You must cancel it manually through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) before or after deleting your account.
Data Retention
We retain account and subscription information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Upon account deletion, we will remove or anonymize your personal data unless we are required to retain it for legal reasons.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
International Transfers
Your information may be stored and processed in countries other than your country of residence. We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.
Your Rights and Requests

- Opt out of optional analytics where applicable
Your Choices
- You can sign out or delete your account in the app via Settings.
- iOS: Manage or cancel your subscription in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- Android: Manage or cancel your subscription in Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.

Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
